What is a Teacher Consultant? The National Geographic Society developed the Teacher Consultant term to describe educators who are love to teach geography and have received training in content and methodology. Since the summer (northern hemisphere case), my TC title has afforded opportunities to work with other educators, administrators, curriculum consultants, school districts and private citizens.

In addition to teaching geography, I am also qualified to teach
  • Grade 7 - 12 Social Studies (State of Nebraska Teacher Certification) - Professional Level

    Recent training in my fields include : (by Training institution - Subject)
  • GEON - educational software for social studies teachers.
  • CIPE - NIH Image software
  • ESRI/SW Texas San Marcos - GIS ArcView and GPS software

    In May 2001, I received my M.Ed. degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
